I've recently discovered this handy little tool called The RasterBator by Matias Ärje, which allows you to import any image, have it halftoned and then spewed out into a multi-page PDF file for printing.

In short; it's a cheap and easy way to make huge posters with a domestic A4 printer and a bit of scissor-effort. Nice.
