bonus beats (14.07.2008)
Here's another unused track that was lying around gathering dust - an earlier and leaner version of 'The Aviatrix' with heavier beats and different chords.datassette-aviatrix_bonus_beats.mp3 (4.59mb)

portishead remix (22.06.2008)
The Rip from Portishead's new album Third, is yet another song that got so fully lodged in my brain I had to start messing around with it. You can hear the results on the download page or the link below this post.Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead obviously had the same problem and have also done a nice cover version of their own in the form of a video on their site.

x-ray pop (16.06.2008)
A wonderfully odd little album from the mega-obscure 80's french lo-fi pop band 'X-Ray Pop' was recently posted on the popular weirdomusic blog Mutant Sounds, and it's been stuck on my mp3 player ever since.Because no matter how many sweaty members of the public with zero spacial awareness accidentally elbow you in the eye sockets on the train home from work, it's almost impossible to get pissed off with such delightful nonsense playing on your headphones.
The highlight for me has to be 'Oh Oui J'Aime!', a wonky little electropop track that's all fuzzy guitars, bleepy synths, and boxy little drum machines, while two Laetitia Sadier style vocalists on what sounds like the verge of hysterical laughter, declare their love for Guinea Pigs and Pistachio Ice Cream with Raspberry Sauce (or something). Dèlicieux!
Grab it while it's hot.

website relaunched (11.06.2008)
A spangley all-new website has been assembled just for you, by a team of self-replicating microscopic droids. You are looking at it right now with your eyeballs, see?An extensive back catalogue of previously unreleased tracks, studies, remixes and demos is available in the downloads section, alongside all the mixes from the old site including the ludicrously popular Businessfunk series (volume three coming soon... maybe).
Watch this space for even more bonus material, live info, videos, and more frequent random bullshit and gibberings.
